The series begins with the on-duty operator coming out to the bomb squad engineers, who are sitting in the dining room and announces a new assignment – a suspicious bag, left unattended in the subway station, Vykhino. While their “Gazelle" rushes through the city, Dima says that the calls to the subway are always treated with utmost care and that it is an area of "high risk", as it is in the subway that the most iconic terrorist attacks of recent years happened, including the one which claimed the lives of 12 men at "Park Kultury" metro station. Then there are frames of the events at “Park Kultury" station, and Dima and Max comment on what happened, how and why. When they finish talking about the attack at “Park Kultury” the action goes back to the engineers’ car, which is riding out to "Vykhino" metro station. Having arrived there the engineers begin to prepare to the examination of the object – the X-ray, put on a protective suit, come up to the suitcase. Upon completion of demining the engineers’ car comes back to the bomb squad headquarters. While the engineers have some rest in the kitchen, Dima invites Max to play paintball with the guys from their department, but Max refuses, because he has pulled his back. He offers the guys to marinate some meat for kebabs to be eaten after paintball, and he will dedicate his free time to one of his hobbies - cleaning an aquarium with rare fish. Meanwhile, Dima has fallen into depression after a weigh-in at 130 kg, decides to go on a diet and makes a bet with the other guys that he would lose 10 kg in 10 days - the loser does the dishes for the entire shift for one month. The episode ends on vivid dynamic shots of a paintball match between the characters, who compete against each other, and then discuss the game during barbecue.
